Notes of the Meeting of Tuesday 9th March 2021
Held online 7.30pm
Present: Cllrs. J. Connolly, P. Dales, P. Smith & E. Bates, Cllr. A. Clark. K. Smith & A. O’Reilly, In attendance J. Grainger – Clerk & RFO.
10.21 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE – Non received.
11.21 TO RECEIVE COUNCILLORS’ DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCALISM ACT 2011 - Non received.
12.21 TO APPROVE AS A CORRECT RECORD THE NOTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL HELD ON 12th January 2021.

13.21 TO RECEIVED CHAIR AND COUNCILLOR COMMENTS – Cllr. Connolly (Chairman), reported that 13 cars had been parked on a verge at Nettleton Woods, with the pedestrian path no longer in use, due to the verge being displaced and the path nonexistent. The clerk reported it had been logged with LCC. Cllr. O’Reilly has been litter picking around the village, with more supplies required. Clerk to contact WLDC for more supplies. Cllr. Connolly reported that the newsletter would resume in the near future, with content required.
14.21 CLERK REPORT
The clerk reported that the website was being updated and asked for content and photographs for inclusion. Emergency gritting and snow clearing had been undertaken in February, with more quotes for the next season being sought. The clerk circulated to councilors information regarding snow clearance and gritting, which outlines the PC’s responsibilities, which will be put on the website. The clerk also circulated information regarding an emergency plan. The clerk reported that highways issues and bridge repairs had reported since the last meeting. The clerk reported that preparations for the resumption of face to face is required and will update the council as information is received. The clerk is waiting further information before completing a proposed new policy. The clerk reported that we are waiting for further information regarding our yearly audit, and how this is to be processed, but all paperwork will be ready for audit as required.
15.21 TO AUTHORISE THE SIGNING OF ORDERS FOR PAYMENT AND TO NOTE INCOME FOR January and February 2021 & TO DISCUSS BANK SWITCH.
It was proposed, seconded and Resolved: That orders for payment made to the sum of £1488.97, income of £0.31 (interest). The clerk reported that information from new banking provided detailed charges. It was discussed and proposed to stay with the current provider, but write for internet banking. Proposed Cllr. K. Smith, seconded Cllr. Clark.
16.21 PLANNING APPLICATIONS & DECISIONS
PL00 19/21 – Nettleton Primary School = extension of permission for temporary classroom.
17.21 CORRESPONDENCE
The clerk circulated all electronic mail, including dog nuisance reports, Safer Together info from Police, St. Andrews Hospice info and WLDC Recycling reopening.
